hundreds of complaints?

The incident in question occurred at last year's Golden Globe awards, when Bono said "This is really, really, f------ brilliant." The FCC received hundreds of complaints afterward. [source]
I don't know what's more laughable: the fact that those "hundreds" represent a mere drop in the bucket compared to the millions who watched and did no complaining; or the fact that the FCC took this long to decide it was indecent (after first ruling that it wasn't).
Hmmm. Am I alone in wondering exactly when the day will arrive that we'll be fined by the FCC for using "indecent and obscene language" on the Internet?

Yes, I found it laughable, and sad at the same time. My question to these people are: If you find the language, and things done on television and radio so flippin' offensive, why not just just don't turn them on? Why should I as an adult not have the choice to decide what I want or don't want to hear or watch?! Don't want your kids to hear or watch, turned the damned thing off! Amazing!
Some people just need to whine about everything.
