Thanks to an early heads-up from Donna, I found out The Girlie Matters was down for almost the entire day!!

Not only could it not be accessed via the web, but I couldn't get in through FTP either. A call to Earthlink support was as unhelpful as ever - they literally had no explanation for me.

I've made the decision. I sent an email to the gals of Blogomania with a few questions I have about switching hosts, and as soon as I hear back from them, I think I'm going to get the ball rolling. I cannot take this frustration anymore, and it doesn't look like work is going to get any easier anytime soon, so I might as well just bite the bullet now.

And I know when it's all said and done, I'll be much happier for it, despite the nuisances I am sure to experience with the transition (God help me with getting MT moved over!!)

So - if you run into any strange things here over the next couple of weeks, hang in there with me and have patience. =)
